Alaska 2023

This will be David and my second trip to Alaska, and the first for Ruth and family. Alaska is a most spectacular place to visit.

For this trip will will be leaving July 7 (our 50th wedding anniversary) from Vancouver on the Celebrity Millennium and stopping at Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and the Hubbard Glacier. The cruise ends in Seward Alaska and from there we will be doing a land tour that will take use to Alyeska, Anchorage, Telketna and Denali. We will leave for home from Anchorage on July 18. At 20,310 feet, Denali (formerly known as Mount McKinley) is the tallest mountain in the US and the 3rd tallest mountain in the world. I took this photo on our 2014 trip at a visitor center which is over 25 nautical miles from the mountain.
